Job summary

FirstService Residential seeks a Community Manager to lead governance, operations, and staff for a homeowner association. You will serve as the principal liaison between the Board and staff, ensuring compliance, budget execution, and effective service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction or equivalent.
Seven years of successful community management experience or equivalent, with at least four years managing staff.
Understanding of building management, condominium law, financial planning and related regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to develop short-term and long-range plans and goals.
Oversee organizational structure, job descriptions, and staff functions.
Partner with boards and external organizations to meet community needs.
Recruit, hire, train and supervise all community staff per management plan.
Ensure compliance with civil code, governing documents, and budgets.
Monitor monthly financial position and report to the Board.
