VRC Companies, LLC. is seeking an ROI Specialist I in the VitalChart department to process medical records requests accurately and efficiently while protecting patient privacy. You will verify authorizations, log requests, and coordinate with facilities to ensure timely releases.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and strong documentation skills. The position emphasizes HIPAA compliance, accurate invoicing, and proactive communication with healthcare clients.

Competenze

• High School Diploma (GED) required; degree preferred.
• Prior ROI fulfillment experience preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated documentation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain productivity and quality performance.
• Basic knowledge of HIPAA.

Mansioni

• Process Release of Information (ROI) requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Access and retrieve medical records for healthcare clients per client procedures.
• Verify patient authorizations for HIPAA compliance.
• Log requests into ROI software and track status.
• PerformQuality Control checks to prevent PHI breaches.
• Prepare and send releases to approved entities.
• Document all communications and exceptions in ROI system.
• Notify supervisor of unusual requests or potential breaches.
