The Release of Information (ROI) Specialist I within the VitalChart department of VRC Companies, LLC is responsible for processing all ROI requests for medical records in a timely, accurate manner while safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring only authorized access.

This role complies with HIPAA and state/federal laws, logs each request, performs quality checks, and coordinates with the ROI team to deliver high‑quality service to healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degree preferred.
• Prior ROI fulfillment experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in English; bilingual skills desirable.
• Experience with EHR/EMR platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with HIPAA and PHI privacy.

Responsabilités

• Process ROI requests for medical records daily.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and privacy of records.
• Log requests in ROI software and track status.
• Prepare invoices and billing materials.
• Coordinate with ROI Team for issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation and QC checks.
