Job summary

MRO Corporation seeks an ROI Specialist to support at client sites for releasing patient medical records. You will review requests, identify records for release, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of information.

The role requires data entry proficiency, strong customer service skills, and attention to detail. You may log, scan, and process requests in ROI On-Line, with occasional cash handling and coordination with physician offices.

Qualifications

• Data entry experience and accuracy with computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• HIPAA familiarity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review requests to determine records for release per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls and assist ROI inquiries.
• Log and process requests in ROI On-Line database; fax to physician offices if needed.
• Handle cashiering at sites where applicable and maintain accurate records.
• Scans, logs, and maintains medical records per site policies.
