MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to provide on-site support at client facilities for releasing medical records in compliance with HIPAA. This role handles data entry, file reviews, and logging requests in ROI On‑Line, while delivering courteous service to requestors and physicians.

You will review requests, determine records to release, respond to inquiries, and assist with cash handling and payments where required, ensuring accurate and timely processing across sites.

Qualifications

• Proficient with computer applications and data entry; 1+ years experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet production goals set by MRO.
• Strong verbal communication skills and responsive to customer inquiries.
• Attention to detail in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
• Reliable, dependable performance is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to release by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls about ROI issues and assist walk-in customers as needed.
• Log and scan requests into ROI On‑Line database and process physician requests.
• Handle cash payments for requests where applicable and comply with site policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
