MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client sites in processing Release of Information requests for patient medical records. The role emphasizes accuracy and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities include answering ROI inquiries, logging, and scanning records, processing physician requests, and handling cash payments where required, all while adhering to site policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates proficiency using computer applications and data entry.
• Strong verbal communication skills and customer service.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information and HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer phone calls concerning ROI issues.
• Respond to walk-in customers and log information into ROI On-Line database.
• Respond and process requests from physician offices and fax information as needed.
• Log and scan medical record requests into ROI On‑Line database.
• Comply with site policies and regulations.
• Handle and record cash payments for requests at specified sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
