MRO Corporation is seeking an ROI Specialist to support client sites with Release of Information requests. The role involves reviewing requester data under HIPAA, collecting necessary patient data from multiple sources, and logging information into the ROI On-Line system.

The position requires accuracy, reliability, and clear communication with callers and visitors. The role may include handling cash payments at certain sites and processing requests from physician offices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year data entry experience.
• Proficient with computers and internet.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and dependability required.
• Experience in ROI in a physician’s office or HIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to release by reviewing requester information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer calls related to ROI inquiries.
• Assist walk-in customers and log information into ROI On‑Line database.
• Process requests from physician offices on a priority basis and fax as needed.
• Log and scan medical records into ROI On‑Line database.
• Handle cash payments at sites where applicable.
• Adhere to site policies and regulations.
