Job summary

Dayton Children’s is seeking a Document Management Lead to support HIM Operations. You will lead the QC indexing team, ensure clinical docs are available in the EHR within target times, and maintain data integrity. You’ll train staff on submission processes and play a key role in enterprise document management development.

Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with flexibility. A strong healthcare admin background and RHIT/RHIA credentials are preferred, along with EMR experience (Epic) and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 3+ years in admin/office within healthcare related field.
• Skills: excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, familiarity with medical terminology and medical records.

Responsibilities

• Supports HIM Operations Manager in establishing and maintaining standardized document control and capture solutions.
• Leads Quality Control Indexing to ensure clinical documentation is accessible in the EHR within specified timeframes.
• Serves as the point of contact for decentralized document submission and provides training and education.
• Holds primary responsibility for enterprise document management development and support activities.
• Promotes data integrity and ensures quality control across HIM operations.
