Qualifications

• Operate and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of highway maintenance equipment.
• Establish traffic controls and ensure safety in work zones.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain highway maintenance equipment to repair road surfaces, shoulders and drainage.
• Perform winter maintenance, including snowplow operation and anti-icing.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents and complete required reports.
