Job summary

Box, a leader in Intelligent Content Management, seeks a Solutions Engineer to articulate and demonstrate Box’s platform value to enterprise customers. You will own technical wins, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and deliver compelling demos that show Box AI, governance, and platform capabilities.

Travel up to 50% is required for customer engagement. The role emphasizes AI fluency, strong presentation skills, and experience with SaaS, cloud, and enterprise software.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience within SaaS, enterprise software, AI, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with Higher Education customers strongly preferred.
• AI-curious and technically fluent — comfortable discussing LLMs, embeddings, automation, and context and prompt engineering concepts.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to establish trust across a range of technical and non‑technical audiences; capable of designing demos and narratives that show the power of Box AI.

Responsibilities

• Research, explore and identify customer business problems and refine to make each experience exceptional.
• Own the technical win in your account and drive the technical deal forward.
• Understand product integrations and MCP servers.
• Lead demos articulating the value of Box selling the full suite of solutions.
• Technical quarterback coordinating the extended team from a solution perspective.
• Show strong business acumen and communicate the value of the Box solution to customers.
• Support field marketing events as a Box SME and presenter.
• Travel up to 50% to engage with customers in territory.
