Panopto is seeking a Director, Industry Practice Lead – Higher Education, a senior individual contributor who will act as the trusted domain authority and growth engine across the global higher education sector. You will bridge academic technology strategy with product capability, engaging Provosts, CIOs, and VPs to articulate the value of video-based knowledge management in teaching and learning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Higher Education Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of total experience combining higher education leadership with 3+ years of commercial GTM experience at an ed-tech provider.
• Deep expertise in LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, D2L Brightspace, Moodle) and campus video infrastructure.
• Proven ability to communicate with academic, technical, and executive audiences.
• Knowledge of WCAG/ADA accessibility, AI in pedagogy, and academic governance.
• Willingness to travel 25%–40% for engagements and conferences.

Responsabilidades

• Represent Panopto as a leading voice at EDUCAUSE, OLC, POD Network, and campus panels.
• Partner with Account Executives on institutional opportunities with domain expertise.
• Conduct strategic reviews to assess platform adoption and prescribe tailored strategies.
• Develop practitioner-focused domain content and playbooks for campus contexts.
