Job summary

Panopto seeks a Director, Industry Practice Lead – Higher Education to serve as the trusted domain authority and growth engine across global higher education. You will bridge academic technology strategy and product capability, engaging senior leaders to grow the pipeline and show how video-based knowledge management elevates teaching, learning, and student outcomes.

You’ll create domain playbooks, advise on campus adoption, and collaborate with Sales and Product Marketing to shape go-to-market

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience combining higher education leadership with GTM in ed-tech.
• Experience engaging Provosts, CIOs, and academic leaders.
• Strong understanding of pedagogy, accessibility, and campus IT trends.

Responsibilities

• Represent Panopto as a domain authority at major academic venues and build top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Partner with Account Executives to pursue institutional opportunities with academic peers.
• Advise on campus adoption, usage reviews, and expansion opportunities across departments.
• Develop domain playbooks and content addressing WCAG/ADA, LMS workflows, and AI in pedagogy.
