Job summary

Howard Technology Solutions is seeking an account executive for the Higher Education territory in Virginia, responsible for promoting technology solutions to colleges and universities. The role requires building relationships with CIOs, coordinators, and AV directors, and achieving sales quotas through proactive prospecting and a structured sales process.

You will conduct presentations, deliver trainings, forecast monthly results, and maintain CRM records.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with technology leaders (CIOs, coordinators, network admins, AV directors).
• Actively and consistently prospect and develop new business.
• Build customer relationships.
• Conduct presentations and in-service trainings.
• Monthly forecasting.
• Plan personal work schedules, prioritizing tasks and responsibilities.
• Complete weekly Sales Productivity Reports.
• Daily updates of CRM system.
