Job summary

Mongoose is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth in the Northeast US. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and build long-term partnerships with higher-ed leaders.

You’ll leverage data-driven strategies, give tailored demos, and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Revenue, and Client Success to ensure a smooth transition from lead to client. The role offers an OTE of $160,000 with a base of $80,000.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in SaaS sales or higher ed tech, with a proven track record.
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to craft tailored, outcomes-focused narratives for higher-ed leaders.
• Comfort with data-driven sales and CRM usage.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Deliver dynamic demos and position Mongoose as the solution.
• Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline using HubSpot.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Revenue, and Client Success.
• Maintain accurate forecasting and exceed sales targets.
