Optimal is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and shift-based roles in Ohio.

The role emphasizes high-volume hiring, multi-channel sourcing, and efficient screening to ensure candidates fit shift work requirements. Collaboration with operations and site managers will be essential to understand staffing needs and drive fast, accurate placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or HR.
• Experience recruiting in high-volume environments.
• Willingness to adapt as recruiting demands grow.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication with candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and shift-based roles.
• Directly search and source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, internet ads, social media, employee referrals, networking and database searches, with a focus on high-volume hiring.
• Screen CVs and conduct initial phone screenings, assessing candidates’ availability for shift work, relevant licenses or certifications, and hands-on experience.
• Work closely with operations and site managers to understand staffing needs.
• Organize interviews, practical assessments and on-site meetings.
• Administer the candidate database, keeping CVs and records up to date and building talent pools for recurring roles.
• Use best practices and systems to improve the speed and quality of recruiting.
