Job summary

Hard Rock Cafe International is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager in San Jose to oversee high-volume cafe operations. You will mentor hourly staff, manage labor and budget, and ensure brand standards across all systems and processes.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to build a high-performing team, drive guest satisfaction, and push retail sales while maintaining a positive, energetic work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Restaurant Operations Managerial role with high-volume exposure.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate financial comprehension of the cafe’s budget and P&L.
• Serve as a mentor and coach to develop hourly staff members into brand ambassadors and customer service stewards.
• Manage labor schedules in line with the cafe’s budget and forecast models.
• Run a department and/or cost center.
• Partner across departments to ensure brand standards and processes are followed.
• Support senior management in building a highly functional hourly team.
• Drive growth in retail sales through staff and guest interaction while upholding brand standards.
• Foster guest-first service and achieve brand-standard guest satisfaction metrics.
• Engage with guests about music, past and present, and leverage opportunities for brand engagement.
