Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Production Test Operator for our High Voltage lab. You will perform current transformer testing, gas tightness testing, and high voltage dielectric testing on circuit breakers, documenting results and ensuring traceability.

You will work in a safety‑minded environment, move breakers and equipment, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings with engineers and technicians while upholding quality and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Assoc degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in test, quality control, or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, test standards, inspection procedures, and safety rules.
• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT testing, gas tightness testing, and HV dielectric testing per PIT.
• Troubleshoot and communicate failures including QCRs.
• Move breakers and equipment safely within the lab.
• Document test data and ensure full traceability of records.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment per OSHA standards.
