Job summary

Garmin International is seeking a part-time High School Work Study - Product Support at our U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will develop customer service, product knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills to assist Garmin customers with product-related inquiries.

You will work with a mentor, document interactions, and uphold Garmin's service standards. Fluency in English is expected; additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, and French) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Demonstrated interest in Garmin products.
• Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Interest in developing technical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Professionalism and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product-related inquiries, orders, pricing and services.
• Develop understanding of Product Support systems and resources.
• Accurately enter notes regarding customer inquiries and issues.
• Maintain Garmin image and philosophy in public interactions.
• Become knowledgeable about Garmin products, policies and offerings.
• Monitor and report improvement needs in equipment, systems, procedures and training.
• Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
