Builders FirstSource in Louisville is seeking a results-driven sales professional to represent the company with major customers and develop strategic proposals. You will gather client needs, coordinate with design staff, and develop detailed sales contracts for residential, multi-family, and commercial projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing or related field plus relevant experience, strong presentation skills, and the ability to train junior reps.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two years prior sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience handling complex customer requirements and developing sales proposals.
• Strong presentation and training capabilities for less experienced reps.

Responsabilidades

• Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
• Develops sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects from client specs.
• Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve.
• Plans and conducts sales presentations and demonstrations of products and services.
• Researches, identifies and solicits new customers and generates sales opportunities.
• Keeps customers updated on products and services to meet requirements.
• Leads meetings in a Sales Manager capacity when necessary and mentors staff.
• Provides training to less experienced Outside Sales Reps.
• Prepares reports and documentation for management.
• Attends product training programs to expand knowledge and skills.
