Job summary

You will round with faculty, order tests as appropriate, educate staff and participate in discharge planning, with a focus on quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National APRN certification and WV licensure eligibility required.
• BLS certification with ACLS training per department discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive care for hem/onc patients in infusion and ambulatory settings.
• Performs daily rounds and pre-treatment evaluations as applicable.
• Orders tests or consults following clinical guidelines.
• Documents evaluations and care plans in the medical record.
• Leads discharge planning and coordinates follow-up appointments.
