Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National certification by a recognized APRN certifying center.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• AHA BLS certification required; advanced life support training as department allows.
• Hematology/Oncology, acute care, or internal medicine experience preferred.
• Eligible new graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for patients and their families in the infusion center and ambulatory setting.
• Completes daily rounds; consults and pre-treatment evaluations in the infusion center as applicable.
• Participates in ambulatory clinics and inpatient care of patients.
• Documents comprehensive clinical evaluations and plans of care in the medical record.
• Facilitates discharge planning and follow-up as applicable.
