Job summary

Successful candidates will have NP or PA credentials, WV licensure eligibility, BLS and ALS training, and experience in hem/onc or related fields.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as RN and APRN in West Virginia.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required with ALS training as needed.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as Physician Assistant (PA) per program.
• ARC-PA approved PA training program.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for patients in infusion center and ambulatory settings.
• Performs daily rounds and pre-treatment evaluations.
• Develops and reviews plan of care with clinical team and coordinates discharge planning.
• Orders tests or consults following guidelines and protocols.
• Documents plan of care and communicates results in medical records.
• Provides education to patients, families, and staff; participates in teaching residents and students.
