Job summary

SerKy Consulting, LLC is seeking entry‑level Help Desk / Desktop Support Technicians (Tier 1) to support clients nationwide. Roles may be on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the client, offering a strong entry point into an IT career.

You will handle tickets, troubleshoot Windows 10/11, support Microsoft 365, and assist with new device setup. Multiple locations across the U.S. and weekday schedules with potential evening/weekend shifts are typical.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of help desk, desktop support, or IT customer service experience.
• Solid troubleshooting on Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, networking, and printers.
• Clear, patient communication with non-technical users.
• Reliable transportation for on-site roles or quiet workspace for remote roles; ability to lift up to 25 lbs for on-site work.
• Ability to pass a background check (and drug screen if required).

Responsibilities

• Answer and resolve help desk tickets by phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and reset passwords in Active Directory.
• Set up, image, and deploy new computers for new hires.
• Document issues and fixes clearly in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 / network teams with notes.
