Job summary

CALIBRE Systems, Inc. in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to be the first point of contact for user issues. You will gather and analyze information to determine the best resolution and provide support for hardware, software, and networks on-site.

Active DoD Secret clearance and a current CompTIA certification are required. The position offers a competitive salary in the $40,000–$50,000 range and a full benefits package, with on-site work in Honolulu.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following: Network+, A+ or Security+ Certification.
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• Experience in computer technical support.
• Understanding of Active Directory to unlock and reset passwords.
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of Service Desk software and hardware technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact and gather information about the user’s issue to determine the best resolution.
• Provide technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications; may remote into the customer’s computer.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist remote employees on a corporate network.
