Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is hiring an Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment and clear vegetation from power lines. You will prepare and operate machinery, support the crew, and ensure safety protocols are followed on every shift.

Minimum three years of heavy equipment experience is preferred, with a focus on safe operation, outdoor work, and endurance for long days. Valid CDL/DOT and background screen are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Three years of heavy equipment operating experience on a tractor or forestry mower.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must meet I-9 requirements; E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to clear branches and debris from electrical lines.
• Assist in daily equipment prep and maintenance as directed.
• Follow safety procedures and assist crew; take leadership when required.
