Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts seeks an Equipment Operator to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines, operating heavy equipment and following safety rules. You will assist the Foreperson, help prepare and maintain gear, and support crew leadership as needed.

The role requires driving capability, CDL/DOT eligibility, outdoor work in varied weather, and travel for storm restoration. Join a full-time team with benefits and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License; CDL and DOT Medical Card required for truck operation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and travel for storm restoration when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read and follow written job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from electrical lines.
• Follow safety rules and help prep and maintain equipment.
• Assist Foreperson and lead crew; take leadership when required.
• Set up barriers and warning signs to protect workers and the public.
• Maintain and report mileage; perform duties for storm work as needed.
• Clean up debris after job completion.
