Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts in Mountain Home, AR is seeking an Equipment Operator to run heavy equipment for removing branches and tree material from electrical lines. A valid driver's license is required; a CDL is preferred. Prior experience with Barko, Linebacker, and Jarraff equipment is highly desirable.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and teamwork. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather and travel for storm restoration work when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable about daily maintenance and safe operations of equipment.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel for storm work if needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials for each day’s work.
• Operate equipment as directed by Foreperson.
• Maintain and repair equipment and tools used in operations.
• Assist crew and take a leadership role when required.
• Clean up and dispose of debris.
• Set up barriers and safety signs to protect workers and public.
• Track mileage for Foreperson.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.
