Republic Services, Inc. in the United States seeks an Operator – Heavy Equipment to safely operate forklift, excavator, bulldozer and other machinery at a recycling center, landfill or transfer station, handling waste with precision.

You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections, monitor waste quality, maintain equipment, and follow safety standards. Requires 2 years of heavy equipment experience and OSHA-site exposure, with a strong customer-service mindset.

Formación

• Two years of prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is safe.
• Safely operate heavy equipment including forklift, excavator, bulldozer and loader.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials during handling.
• Perform minor servicing and refer complex issues for repair.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs to supervisor.
• Follow all safety policies and keep the shop clean and organized after shifts.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
