As an industry leading Environmental Remediation & Demolition Contractor since 1985, EnviroVantage, Inc is looking to add to our incredible team. Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, EnviroVantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment. This role is critical to keeping projects on schedule by ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine repair solutions quickly and accurately
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment complies with company and regulatory standards
• Maintain detailed service and repair records
• Respond to field service calls as needed to minimize equipment downtime
• Communicate repair needs and timelines with Director of Facilities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics & electric systems.
• Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Driver’s License and clean 5-year driving record
• OSHA 10

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 75 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment

Compensation

• Compensation Range: $37.00 - $41.00/hour
• Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Paid Time Off & Holidays

• Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year
• Sick Time: 56 hours per year
