Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air/brake systems, engines, HVAC, and drive trains. The role emphasizes on-site and road diagnostics, with training on new technologies and steady career growth.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years of heavy-truck experience and strong diagnostic skills, with ASE T1–T8 certifications being a plus. CDL B and LNG/CNG experience are also valued.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and repair complex truck systems.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose multi-system issues and perform complex repairs.
• Repair chassis, refuse bodies, brakes, engines, HVAC, and emission systems.
• Inspect using scan tools and perform on-site and road repairs.
