Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, air brakes, engines, HVAC, and suspension systems. You will diagnose multi-system issues and work on advanced equipment as part of a single fleet team.

With 5-7 years of experience, ASE certifications are a plus, and LNG/CNG experience is beneficial. A CDL is a plus, and the role offers competitive wages and benefits supporting community service.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs with partial supervision.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks.
• Diagnose engines, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Perform chassis, suspension, drive train and steering repairs and diagnostics.
