Job summary

W.W. Williams is seeking a Service Advisor to support technicians and help manage a profitable service department, ensuring scheduled work meets customer expectations and quality standards.

You will liaise between customers and shop staff, quote prices, obtain authorizations, and maintain clear documentation throughout the service process. The role emphasizes strong customer service, communication, and office software proficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a heavy duty dealership or diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the customer by phone or in person to determine concerns, problems or needs with professionalism.
• Matches customer needs with W. W. Williams products and services, maximizing satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work, quote prices and credit terms with accuracy and obtain authorization to proceed.
• Stays in close contact with customers during the transaction and documents all communications, quotes, terms and requests.
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verify equipment warranty status with assistance from warranty department.
