Job summary

W.W. Williams is seeking a Service Advisor in Georgia to support technicians and manage a profitable service department through staffing, customer satisfaction, cost controls, and setting objectives. You will open/close work orders, verify warranty status, and liaise between customers and shop staff.

This role requires 3+ years in heavy-duty dealership or diesel service, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in heavy-duty dealership or diesel service environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the customer, either by phone or in person, to determine concerns and needs with professionalism.
• Matches customer needs with products/services and proposes solutions to maximize satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Liaison between customers and shop personnel to determine work, quote prices and obtain authorization.
• Stays in contact with customers during the transaction and documents communications (quotes, authorizations, terms).
• Open and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Verify equipment warranty status with assistance from warranty department.
