AudioNova, part of Sonova, in Saint Louis, MO, is seeking a Hearing Care Coordinator to work with clinical staff, schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, and provide patient support in a busy ophthalmic/clinical setting. The role partners with Hearing Care Professionals on-site to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications include a HS diploma (associate degree preferred), strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, and prior health-care/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong relationship-building with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
• EMR/EHR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally.
• Place outbound calls for follow-up appointments and evaluations.
• Collect intake forms and maintain patient files.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Complete benefit checks and obtain insurance authorizations.
• Assist with front-desk tasks, including payments processing.
• Support repairs under a licensed pro supervision.
• Prepare bank deposits and daily finance reports.
• Assist with accessories sales and patient support.
• Process orders and verify pickup.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic cleaning.
• Submit equipment and facility requests.
• Perform general office duties and stock management.
• Assist with community outreach event planning monthly.
