Job summary

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in healthcare and strong customer service, with HIPAA knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office. No nights or weekends; competitive hourly pay plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in a health care environment preferred.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of hearing aids is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a positive and professional attitude.
• Place outbound calls to current and former patients to schedule follow-ups.
• Collect patient intake forms and maintain patient files and notes.
• Complete benefit checks and obtain authorizations for insurance.
• Provide first-level support to patients, check patients in/out, process payments.
• Process repairs under the supervision of a Hearing Care Professional.
• Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance.
• Apply general sales knowledge for accessories and patient support.
• Process patient orders, verify pickup, and enter data into system.
• Clean and maintain equipment and instruments.
• Submit equipment and facility requests.
• Manage inventory, stock, and supply orders.
• Assist with event planning and logistics for community outreach.
