Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to partner with business and IT stakeholders in an Agile environment, shaping requirements, documenting processes, and ensuring high-quality solutions. You will analyze data, support testing, and contribute to backlog prioritization to enable efficient delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, healthcare domain knowledge, and a focus on optimizing processes with modern tools and APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of business systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices (Scrum and SAFe).
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with others in system development and design, including database, report, and interface design.
• Assists in the development of test plans and coordination or execution of testing activities and helps triage issues.
• Represents the business within an Agile delivery team; acts as a liaison between business and IT for new system implementations, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
