Job summary

Premera Blue Cross seeks a Business Systems Analyst to collaborate with IT and business teams, document requirements, and support Agile delivery. You will analyze processes and translate business needs into technical solutions, helping drive efficiency and value across the organization.

The role emphasizes data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and applying improvements using SQL, BI tools, and modern collaboration suites. Hybrid on-site work is supported at select locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile delivery practices (Scrum/SAFe) in software teams.
• Proficient in SQL for data analysis and validation.
• Knowledge of healthcare or health insurance processes.
• Experience with tooling like Azure DevOps, Confluence.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and requirements documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and business to elicit and document requirements.
• Support test planning, UAT, and release coordination.
• Analyze processes to identify opportunities for efficiency via technology.
• Assist in backlog prioritization and sprint planning.
• Provide data analysis and reporting support using BI tools.
