Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to collaborate with IT and business partners in an Agile environment. You will document requirements, support testing, and analyze processes to drive efficiency in healthcare systems.

The role focuses on data analysis, backlog prioritization, and bridging business needs with technology solutions. You will work with tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, and BI platforms to deliver value.

Qualifications

Experience in a software development environment using Agile delivery practices (Scrum/SAFe).
Knowledge of project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Experience using SQL for data analysis, validation, or reporting.
Healthcare or health insurance domain understanding.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Confluence, Product Plan.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with IT and business partners to document requirements (epics, features, user stories, use cases).
Represent the business in Agile delivery teams and assist with test planning and UAT.
Analyze processes to identify pain points and opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Perform data analysis, validate requirements, and support root cause analysis.
Document data requirements and support reporting and data mapping activities.
Help prioritize backlog and assist with sprint planning.
