HealthPartners is seeking a Switchboard Operator to join our switchboard team. The role focuses on prompt, courteous response to calls, routing to departments, paging on-call physicians, and code processing to support patient care.

Requirements include at least 1 year of client-facing customer service experience, strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to remain composed in emergencies. Post-secondary education and prior call center experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year client facing customer service experience.
• Demonstrates multitasking, detail orientation, critical thinking and problem solving in emergencies.

Responsabilités

• Route calls to appropriate departments and provide patient information.
• Page on-call physicians and handle code processing and related communications.
• Prioritize a wide range of routine, public service and emergency calls.
• Respond to emergency alerts and alarms to initiate proper response.
• Provide general assistance to colleagues, patients, visitors and members.
