Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, North Carolina is seeking an Inventory Level I/II Associate to manage supply distribution and inventory accuracy at Duke University Hospital. Responsibilities include using ERP systems, SAP, EPIC, and Pyxis for tracking, restocking, and cycle counts.

Level II involves mentoring Level I staff, coordinating with nursing units, and supporting inventory planning. Working hours are 10:00pm-6:30am, Monday–Friday, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Proven inventory management and distribution experience.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and restock supplies and linen for end users.
• Utilize SAP to document movement of supplies.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Check expiration dates on supplies and discard expired products.
• Accept and sign for deliveries from distributors as needed.
• Inspect shipments and file packing slips.
• Report shipment discrepancies to on-site management.
• Prepare and process vendor returns and rotate stock in all inventory areas.
• Move and stock supplies after receiving is completed.
• Transport shipments to inventory locations and to designated recipients.
• Deliver non-supply items as required.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure service levels.
• Provide excellent customer service for supply and linen inquiries.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and storage areas.
