Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC is seeking a hands-on Inventory Associate to maintain accurate stock levels, restock supplies, and support ERP-based transactions. You will document movements with Pyxis and SAP, conduct cycle counts, and collaborate with nursing units and departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role includes advancing responsibilities (Level II) such as mentoring Level I staff and coordinating with clinics, while maintaining high service levels in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some college coursework preferred but not required.
• Level I: minimum of one year experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping/receiving, logistics, material handling, customer service, inventory control, or a related service environment.
• Level II: minimum of two years in one or more of the listed areas.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and restock supplies and/or linen for end users.
• Utilize Supply Chain technologies, including Pyxis and SAP, to document the movement of supplies.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Report shipment discrepancies to on-site management.
• Coordinate and deliver supplies and products to off-site clinics and facilities.
• Oversee consignment inventory and related processes.
• Assist with annual inventory preparations and counts.
• Troubleshoot supply shortages and communicate operational impacts.
• Serve as SME for TIMS module and generate reports.
• Work with customers to reconcile invoices as needed.
