Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an Inventory/Materials Clerk to support procurement and distribution of medical supplies. You will handle restocking, cycle counting, and delivery coordination within a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include documenting movements in SAP and Pyxis, checking expiration dates, and ensuring accurate inventory while delivering friendly, responsive service to internal customers and departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping/receiving, logistics, or inventory control.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer service–oriented environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and restock supplies and linen for end users.
• Utilize Pyxis and SAP to document movement of supplies.
• Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Check expiration dates on supplies and discard expired products when needed.
• Accept and sign for deliveries from distributors.
• Enter goods receipts into SAP and file packing slips.
• Move and stock supplies, transport shipments to stockrooms, and deliver packages.
• Provide excellent customer service for supply and linen inquiries.
