Job summary

Cisco's healthcare-focused Solutions Engineering role leads business-outcome plays across provider, payer, and life sciences, accelerating GTM with repeatable use cases, demos, architectures, and POV assets. You will partner with account teams to align Cisco and Splunk capabilities to operational and security outcomes, in a high-visibility, individual-contributor capacity.

This role reports into the Industry Solutions Engineering organization and requires executive credibility with healthcare

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering or pre-sales, ideally in healthcare.
• Architectural experience with healthcare tech and data.
• Executive presence with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs and other leaders.
• Outcome-based selling and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for engagements and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead healthcare plays across provider, payer and life sciences.
• Develop repeatable use cases, demos, architectures and POV kits.
• Partner with account teams to map Cisco/Splunk capabilities to outcomes.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers on healthcare domain knowledge.
• Represent Splunk and Cisco at industry events and briefs.
