Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a System Administrator to serve as the primary liaison to IT for the electronic occurrence reporting system at Elliot Health System. You will monitor systems, collaborate with vendors, and support clinical departments in maintaining data integrity and availability.

You’ll provide user training, assist with access issues, and build new functionalities under guidance, ensuring staff can enter events accurately and on time across the EHS intranet.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or background in computer science preferred.
• Experience providing IT support, preferably in healthcare.
• Two years' experience in healthcare risk or quality departments preferred.
• Two years' IT programming or computer operations experience preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Proficient with database programs and table management.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools and applications.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills required.
• Attention to detail and follow-up on issues.
• Good communication and telephone skills.
• Experience with healthcare electronic risk reporting applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor software systems and data integrity and collaborate with vendors to ensure system availability.
• Serve as liaison between vendors and SolutionHealth/EHS IT Dept for report writing requests.
• Provide training to new and existing users of systems.
• Assist staff with access issues, questions and reporting requests.
• Build new functionalities under guidance of clinical departments.
• Ensure system functioning across EHS for staff to enter events.
• Update and maintain databases with staff, providers, medications, etc.
• Monitor system to help dept staff ensure events resolved on time.
