Job summary

SolutionHealth is seeking a System Administrator to serve as the primary administrator and IT liaison for the electronic occurrence reporting system at Elliot Health System. You will support multiple systems within the Legal and Compliance Departments and collaborate with vendors to maintain availability and functionality.

You will train users, resolve access issues, and develop new system capabilities under clinical guidance, ensuring timely event entry across the Organization.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS preferred.
• Experience providing IT support, preferably in healthcare, required.
• Two years' experience in healthcare risk or quality departments preferred.
• Two years’ IT programming or computer operations experience preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Understands system designs and process application flows required.
• Proficient with database programs and table management.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools and applications.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor software systems and data integrity.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues to ensure system availability.
• Serve as liaison between vendors and SolutionHealth/EHS IT to fulfill report writing requests.
• Provide training to users of systems and applications.
• Assist with staff access issues and reporting requests.
• Build new functionalities in the system under guidance of clinical departments.
• Ensure system functioning across EHS for staff to enter events.
• Troubleshoot downtime or system failures with vendors.
• Update and maintain databases manually uploaded for current user information.
