Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Patient Access / Patient Registration Specialist to coordinate referrals, intake documentation, and cross-functional communication for infusion services. You will partner with referral sources, sales, pharmacy, nursing, and internal teams to ensure timely access to therapy and a high-quality patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience, with strong multitasking and customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple referrals/priorities at once.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to secure nursing and delivery.
• Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secure patient upfront payment and direct to financial assistance when needed.
• Support activities to ensure clean claims on hold and deny management (follow-up on missing paperwork).
• Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
