Job summary

AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking a Lead Operations Specialist in Erie, CO to support the regional operations team. This role acts as a SMEs, conducts new hire training, mentors the team, and may deliver and set up medical equipment as needed.

You will supervise staff, lead onboarding, monitor performance, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and HIPAA throughout daily workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Related healthcare administration or business background is a plus.
• Experience in health care admin, financials, or insurance customer services is desired.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and supervise a team with attention to regulatory details.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide team members in daily operations and complex case resolution.
• Lead team meetings, onboarding, and ongoing training for operations and client engagement.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching to staff.
• Develop process improvements and define procedures based on best practices.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Maintain expertise in Medicare guidelines and payer policies to guide decisions.
• Analyze data to identify workflow issues and implement corrections.
• Prepare operational trend reports for management reviews.
• Drive adherence to HIPAA and AdaptHealth’s compliance program.
