SIMEDHealth is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead operations across Primary Care and Urgent Care clinics in Gainesville, FL, with travel to High Springs and Lake City offices. You will supervise front-office and back-office teams and partner with physicians and leaders to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

The role requires a strong background in medical office management, 5+ years of supervisory experience, and excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher; relevant experience may substitute.
• At least 5 years in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or hospital.
• At least 5–7 years of direct supervisory and management experience.
• Primary Care or Urgent Care experience strongly encouraged.
• Experience supervising a large clinical and administrative team.
• Experience working with physicians and advanced care practitioners.
• Knowledge of medical office workflows, scheduling, EHR, billing, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations of Primary Care and Urgent Care clinics.
• Direct supervision and development of front-office and back-office coordinators.
• Support ~40 clinical/administrative employees across sites.
• Establish clear responsibilities and accountability for coordinators.
• Coordinate staffing and schedules to ensure clinic coverage.
• Oversee patient flow, appointment availability, and clinic capacity.
• Recruit, onboard, and train clinic employees.
• Address performance and conduct concerns.
• Monitor queues to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments on staffing, billing, technology, and compliance.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, safety, regulatory compliance; report risks to leadership.
• Travel routinely to High Springs and Lake City offices and communicate needs to executive leadership.
