Job summary

Ahava Healthcare in Jackson, TN seeks an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee billing, admissions coordination, and financial operations in a skilled nursing facility.

You will collaborate with intake to achieve occupancy and collection goals, manage Medicaid/Medicare billing, and ensure compliant handling of confidential information while supporting a stable, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Business Degree or experience in a healthcare facility.
• Must know TN Medicaid, Medicare, and Managed Care insurances.
• Experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain collaborative relationship with intake and admissions to support occupancy and collection goals.
• Oversee billing, billing terms, and Medicaid applications with residents and families.
• Monitor monthly Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care billing and follow up on delinquent payments.
• Track admissions, discharges, expirations, transfers, and daily census data.
• Maintain financial records including cash receipts, disbursements, AR/AP, payroll journal, and GL.
• Protect confidentiality of all protected information.
