Qualifications

• College degree in accounting or business-related field preferred.
• Prior BOM experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility with focus on collections.
• Experience with Medicaid and Medicare billing and collections essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing, follow-up, and appeals for various claims to ensure timely payment.
• Meet all billing deadlines and adhere to a calendar for critical deadlines.
• Educate patients and families regarding insurance processes.
• Handle write-offs, collections, and postings of funds received for services.
